For we train to kill, they
teach us not to think of death as the
taking of human life, but nothing more then
the fall of the hammer of a rilfe.
The eventsthat we shall witness, shall turne a man
pure of heart.
To that of a beast
who's only thought is that of the
death of their enemy.
Where one once saw life &
hope in their eyes now only is seen
that of the grave.
For we are dead, yet our bodies' have
yet to see the truth.
For we train to kill, they
teach us not to think of death as the
taking of human life, but nothing more then
the fall of the hammer of a rilfe.
The eventsthat we shall witness, shall turne a man
pure of heart.
To that of a beast
who's only thought is that of the
death of their enemy.
Where one once saw life &
hope in their eyes now only is seen
that of the grave.
For we are dead, yet our bodies' have
yet to see the truth.
THis is what takes the light from a Marine's eyes
