Morning's Calm

   As I wake from the nights rest, where
the world as I know is gone.
   I look upon my friends prone bodies and see
not beasts waiting to slate their blood
lust but men who sleep that of the just.
The knowledge that what they do is a noble cause
, and none shall be told otherwise.
  Others who have yet to see the horrors
of war, first hand will judge us for
our actions.
Actions as seen by eyes unknown to our
world, are seen as the of an animal.
Yet they are not, they are those of a MAN trying
to survive and nothing more.

The Line Between Man & Beast Is That Of a Razor Blade.
