Angel's Grace 040921
Death is an angel for whom many fear.
Yet I fail to see why, for her tender mercy's put an
end to suffering that is one's life.
Many live their lives away from her until the time
has come, only then do they accept her grace.
But those who wear this uniform know her all to well.
For she is our pation saint, to whom we all know and love.
Those outside our lives, do not embrace her until the end.
Yet everytime one of my brothers puts on his boots, she is there to greet us at the wire.
My rifle and blade are her symbols and when I carry them, she greets me at the gate and on post.
She walks with us, as we walk with her.
For she knows that we will bring those to her, at their time.
Just as we will take her hand and walk, so as to be guided where none shall
ever suffer any more
